Meet our one-of-a-kind Airstreamer, the “World of Grüne Soße”! This isn’t just a truck; it’s a rolling piece of Frankfurt, delivering authentic regional specialties straight to you – always fresh, locally sourced, and served with a lot of heart.

Whether you crave the celebrated Grüne Soße (Green Sauce), the regional cheese specialty Handkäs’, a delicious Fleischwurst (meat sausage), crisp Apfelwein (cider), or a fine glass of wine, we serve up the most popular classics and exciting new creations that truly make you hungry for Hessen!

 

More Than Just Meals: A Truck with a History

 
Spring 2022: Solidarity on the Move 
  • From April 22nd to June 18th, the food truck served a large refugee shelter in North Frankfurt. Working side by side, we prepared hot Ukrainian soups and fries for the children, creating a space where people met, practiced different languages, and fostered a sense of community amid sudden displacement.

 

2022–2023: Ukrainian Culinary Showcase

  • Following this project, a group of Ukrainian residents expressed a wish to sell Ukrainian specialties – naturally paired with Grüne Soße – during the summer Grüne Soße Festival. For two years, the truck was proudly managed by this dedicated Ukrainian team.

 

Since 2025: A New Mission 

  • The truck is now embracing its new core mission: bringing Hessian specialties directly to people on the go! The first stop featured legendary award-winning sauces, Fleischwurst, and Handkäs’ at the Grundhöfer company premises in Frankfurt-Kalbach.

 

It’s truly a rolling piece of Frankfurt history and heart!

A Vehicle for Community & Joy

Our truck is far from an ordinary snack bar – it is an action vehicle of the Grüne Soße Festival. Wherever people gather, it ensures great taste, fosters community spirit, and spreads genuine joie de vivre.

Enjoying Together

Many of our initiatives are created in collaboration with the caterers and restaurants you know from the festival. This allows us to bring the rich variety of Grüne Soße cuisine out into the wider region – a powerful symbol of unity, creativity, and the authentic Frankfurt way of life.
